extraordinary nikol

markíza tv’s successful crime-comedy series follows the story of nikol, whose exceptionally high iq and unconventional approach help the police solve complex cases. the show’s visual style is characterized by playful graphic elements that allow the viewer to peer into the main character’s thought processes. the project is a slovak adaptation of the french hit hpi (haut potentiel intellectuel), from which it draws its dynamic pace and visual identity.

our studio participated in the post-production phase of the project, where we were responsible for the complete execution of animations and vfx elements. during the creation process, we drew from the visual key of the french original, adapting it for the needs of the slovak production. our solutions included a wide range of graphic layers – from dynamic infographics and on-screen text animations to complex visual effects that complete the investigative atmosphere.
